Event Info
With nearly 100,000 people in our area experiencing food insecurity, the need for food assistance in Pierce County is greater than ever.
Commencement Bank, in partnership with the Tacoma Dome and Nourish Pierce County, is hosting its first-ever “Hams for the Holidays” event to provide hams (and limited alternatives) for local families in need.
The generous sponsors and volunteers came together to provide hams (and limited alternatives) to members of our local community. Please register and drive-thru Tacoma Dome Parking Lot G off of Wiley Avenue at your scheduled time on December 19th to pick up your ham. If you are unable to make your appointment time, it is possible we may run out of supplies. Limit is one ham (or alternative) per car. Hope to see you there!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I get a ham for someone who is unable to make it?
Unfortunately, we will only be able to provide hams for those who register and arrive at their scheduled time. There are alternative options with our local foodbanks for those who can't make it. You can find them here: https://nourishpc.org/need-food/
I don't have a car, can I walk to get a ham?
Yes! Just make sure you are registered and have the means to transport the ham (they weigh around 7 pounds).
How long will it take to get my ham?
There are a lot of people in need this year, so the event will be crowded. Get there early to make sure you get your ham at the scheduled time and plan to spend between 30 and 45 minutes in line.
Can I still get a ham if I miss my appointment time?
If we still have hams available, you can still receive your ham after your appointment time. People who are there at their scheduled appointment time will have priority and we may run out of supplies.
