Thanksgiving Drive-Through Turkey Giveaway at the Tacoma Dome

Providing families in need with free turkeys this holiday season

Tacoma Venues & Events and the Tacoma Police Department, along with generous sponsors and volunteers, are hosting the second annual Thanksgiving drive-through Turkey Giveaway at the Tacoma Dome. Following the success of last year’s event, where 640 families received turkeys at the Tacoma Dome, volunteers will once again distribute hundreds of turkeys, providing support to local families in need ahead of the holiday season.

The Tacoma Police Department and Tacoma Ministerial Alliance are spearheading the distribution of turkeys, also hosting giveaways at the Eastside Community Center on November 23 and the People’s Community Center on November 25.

“We are grateful to once again partner with the Tacoma Police Department to support our neighbors and help create a brighter holiday season for hundreds of families,” said Adam S. Cook, Director of Tacoma Venues & Events. “The space and resources available at the Tacoma Dome allows us to host this and other important community activations. We appreciate the generosity of the sponsors and the dedication of community partners who make it possible to serve all of Tacoma.”

Participants are invited to drive through Tacoma Dome Parking Lot G on November 19 to pick up one turkey per family, while supplies last. Vehicles will enter from Wiley Avenue at the east side of the Dome.
